Michaele Snyder, OD
Dr. Michaele Snyder graduated with honors from Southern College of Optometry, earning a Doctorate of Optometry. She completed her residency in Ocular Disease and Ocular and Refractive Surgery at Georgia Eye Partners in Atlanta, Georgia. This residency program provided her with in-depth experience in managing complex ocular conditions including cataracts, glaucoma, diabetes, macular degeneration and corneal conditions.
Dr. Snyder anchors Newsom Eye’s Brooksville location as the comprehensive optometrist where she specializes in routine eye exams, contact lens fittings, dry eye management and ocular disease treatment.
Additionally, Dr. Snyder provides expert surgical co-management of pre-operative and post-operative care for cataract surgeries, YAG capsulotomies, EVO ICL (Implantable Collamer Lens) procedures, and LASIK.
Beyond her career pursuits, Dr. Snyder’s dedication is evident in her active involvement in community eye care clinics and her passion for helping others.
Originally from Southern California, Dr. Snyder enjoys outdoor activities, and spending quality time with her husband and golden retriever, Annie.
